Tacpro are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to fill on-going job vacancies across Mackay & the Bowen Basin.

This role is suited for someone looking to further their recruitment career in a fast paced and busy environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented motivated team player to make a difference in providing capability across the mining & sugar industries.
As the Recruitment Specialist you will match candidates with priority job vacancies and ensure high standards of customer focus to build and maintain ongoing relationships with candidates, clients and colleagues. Your primary focus will be to support the business to achieve maximum job fulfilment as set out by Tacpro.
Managing the end-end recruitment process for candidates, screening, pre-employment requirement and on-boarding documentation
Managing interview schedules for candidates and hiring managers
Data entry and administration duties
Organising, updating qualifications, inductions and liaising with training providers
Maintenance of internal and external systems to ensure they are kept up to date
Management and maintenance of talent pool records
Providing regular updates to internal teams regarding the mobilisation of new workers and teams deploying to jobs
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years’ recruitment experience or similar role
Knowledge of trades & requirements within the mining sector (Glencore / BMA)
The passion to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Possess great attention to detail, high level of accuracy & time management
Be exceptionally organised, with a strong ability to multi-task and priorities under pressure
Have good interpersonal and problem-solving
